Know About Me

I was born under the vibrant pulse of Mumbai, India, where the city’s colors and chaos first whispered art into my soul. As a wide-eyed child, I stood outside an art class, heart thumping, watching paint meet canvas in bursts of magic—I yearned to join, to spill my dreams into color. My aunt, my first beacon, saw the light in my eyes and nudged me toward a local art competition. When I won first prize, my small hands trembled with joy, clutching proof that my heart could speak. In school, my teachers became my cheerleaders, their belief in me a warm glow—they entered me in contests, and I soared, claiming the first prize at a national level, my spirit dancing with every stroke.

No surface was safe from my imagination—textiles, grains, wood, fabric—they all became my canvas, each brushstroke a love letter to the world. My school principal and teachers entrusted me with my first commissions, asking me to paint for the school office and their homes. I poured my soul into those pieces, feeling the weight and wonder of being seen. But life, as it does, swept me into its current—education, responsibilities, and a move to the UK for my master’s degree filled my days. I painted when I could, stealing moments to let colors breathe, but then my children arrived, and time became a fleeting shadow, my brushes gathering dust.

Now, as my daughter turns 18 and I stand on the cusp of 50, my heart stirs awake, whispering a truth I’ve always known: art is my home. The years have woven depth into my soul, and I’m ready to chase my lifelong dream of becoming a professional artist. With every acrylic pour—like my “Sunflower Flow,” kissed with a tinge of gold—I weave nature’s spirit into vibrant, ethereal forms, building my portfolio stroke by stroke. I’m stepping into the art world, not just to leave a mark, but to share the beauty I’ve carried all along—a beauty born in a Mumbai child’s wonder, nurtured by love, and now blooming anew, radiant and fearless.

My Family, My Inspiration in Art

Every brushstroke I make, every line I draw, carries a piece of my family with it. Their love, struggles, and dreams live in the colors I choose and the stories I tell through my art. They inspire me to create—not just for myself, but for the world to see the beauty in everyday life. My parents’ dedication, my siblings’ laughter, and the warmth of our memories together shape my creative soul. My art is a reflection of them—of all they’ve given me without asking for anything in return.
